We came to Reunion Island March 29, another warm day. It is an overseas
department of France, in the western Indian Ocean. The total population is
around 700 000.
Our plan was to go to the beach, so we took the shuttle.
The day was windy but warm
One second you are standing at the sand, the next you are in the water
After a while the shark flag changed from orange till red, and
everybody was asked to leave the water and we found it better to continue
playing in the sand. Daniel though, brought a stick and wanted to enter the
water again ready to fight the shark…

We left the beach for some ice creams, and then took the shuttle back
to the ship. Some of the other passengers went on an organize trip and seen
some amazing scenic views. They described the island as very fertile and beautiful
so apparently there are much more to see than we did. Still, we enjoyed.
