Luderitz, Namibia

We came to Luderitz April 8th.

We went with a group from the ship to see the desert and some animals.

First stop was a deserted diamond mine,that goes under the nickname ghost town.

Apparently, that is all that is left there

We continued into the desert

And then to a beach where we were told it would be penguins, well, if there ever were it was not this day. And the driver conveniently just forgot his English so we went to see a few flamingoes instead

We went back to the “center”

and then back to the ship
