March 7 we
reached Hong Kong, and the city seemed endless. Unfortunately the weather was
still not good.
Our plan
for the day was Disneyland, everybody`s favorite land.
And for
sure it’s fun for kids at all ages
Somewhere
up here is Ingvill and Helene
This is
more my level
We also saw
a fantastic show. It`s something with all these songs and characters that are
so familiar through generations.
And the
parade
And of
course the very best is to say hi to Donald and Dolly
I wish….
At night it
was time for the Disneyland for adults – Macao. The ship stayed overnight, and
Helene was kind to babysit her siblings. The jetfoil took one hour from Hong
Kong to Macao, who is called the Las Vegas of the east.
Macao is a
former Portuguese colony, and even though it belongs to China this is the only
place where gambling is legal, and you have to go through passport check etc.
Didn`t take too long though, and when we arrived it was free shuttle to all of
the hotels.
Seems like
a copy of Vegas, with lots of the same hotels.
And just
like in Vegas, the biggest winner is the house. We had lots of fun, and really
enjoyed our night out. Heading back for Hong Kong, they were sold out for
jetfoil tickets, but we had no need to worry. Beside the counter a man was
selling tickets for a bit more than the counter did. One thing is for sure, the
Chinese really knows how to do business!
Back on the
ship we got a few hours’ sleep, before we were ready for our second day in Hong
Kong.
